Forensic DNA Lab

Work with General Services to identify and hire an architectural firm to complete the design of the Forensic DNA Laboratory. Work with Personnel to recruit and hire three qualified DNA / Forensic Biology Criminalists and a DNA Technical Leader. Work with General Services to identify and hire a qualified contractor to remodel 1,700 square feet of laboratory space according to Forensic DNA Laboratory design plan. Purchase DNA instrumentation and consumables. Validate all equipment and procedures, and achieve laboratory accreditation by ANAB and the FBI (Quality Assurance for DNA).
